What to do if your Boresight comes with an allen key and a battery compartment disc

If your Sightmark boresight comes with an allen key and disc in the battery compartment, here is the solution.

Step 1) Remove the disc from the battery compartment using the allen key

Step 2) Install the batteries in the battery compartment with the flat (positive"+") side facing the battery cap.

Step 2) Insert the disc over the batteries and tighten snug. This will allow the disc to act as a battery "safety lock" requiring the tool to remove the batteries.

Step 3) Tighten the battery cap by turning it clockwise until secure. Do not overtighten, as it may cause damage to the threads

Step 4) When finished using the boresight, Remove the disc lock and batteries. Reinstall the disc lock into the battery compartment for storage. Store the boresight, batteries, and allen key in the protective pouch with the instructions.
